  3. Why Do It In The First Place? What Do You Get Out of Mopping? What Would Happen If You Just Stopped?

  4. How Is Mopping Your Floor Like… Selling to Your Customers?

  5. AS SOON AS SOMEONE BUYS, YOU KNOW THEY WILL BUY MORE! BUT… WILL THEY BE BUYING FROM YOU??!!

  6. Following Up • With every customer no later than 3 months after signing up. • With every hostess at least once every three months. Best time is when a new catalog comes out. • With anyone showing interest in your business opportunity. • Use a company newsletter if they have one. • Use a planner or software solution to keep track of everyone you need to follow up on. • Always send a thank you card for customers who make on-line purchases.

Send Out a Follow Up Email • “Check out the new product this month…” • “A special gift for all hostesses this month…” • “A special offer for my online shoppers this month only…” • Christmas, Valentines, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, 4th of July… • Tips about how to best use your product… (You can find lots of tips & tools for this at mydirectsalestoolbox.com ) • It’s a great idea to reach your customers with different forms of communication. • Face to Face • Phone Calls • Emails • Texting • Snail Mail • Face Book / Social Media

The Power of Follow Up • You already know them…the call is easier. • They probably still like the product. • They will be nice to you. • YOUR SALES WILL GO WAY UP!!!! • You start to build a residual base of customers who drive your business every month! • Always remember that customers become Hostess’s & Hostess’s become your new team members. So always let them know they can BUY HOST JOIN

  9. Have You Ever Seen A 2 Year Old Mop? The tool is only good if used, and used effectively! When making phone calls, smile, & be prepared to leave a clear clean message!

The Challenge • Add 50 People to Your Company Newsletter or Email Address Book • Follow Up with 15 People Who Got Your Newsletter or Emails • Enter the Email Address of At Least 50% of Your Customers This Month • Send A Follow Up Email To at Least 75% of Your Newsletter List or Customers • Call 2 previous hostess’s and let them know you have dates open & special hostess incentives to offer
