  2. Section one • shortlist: one of a small group of people who have been chosen from a larger group. The successful person is then chosen from the small group • vital: necessary or very important • tutorial: a regular meeting between a tutor and one or several students, for discussion of a subject that is being studied • majestically: very beautiful, dignified, and impressive • commentator: a broadcaster who gives a radio or television commentary on an event
