  4. Human &Physical Features First of all, did you know that the total population of Togo is 6,239,000 people which is significantly small compared to the United States. Also,the total area of Togo is 21,925 square miles. Furthermore, The life expectancy is sadly only 58%. For this reason, Togo’s mortality rate has decreased by 5%. In addition the infant mortality rate is 88.6% which is 82% greater than the United States. By the way, did you know that Togo’s literacy rate is only 53%. To conclude Togo is an underdeveloped country.

  5. Togo Flag To Begin with, Togo’s flag was adopted on November 24,1962.Interestingly enough, the flag is filled history and meanings. Furthermore, Togo’s flag facts are the stripes are the same as the Iran flag and the countries also have the same ethnic groups. Next, did you know the red stripes represents Togo’s independence and sacrifice. To sum up, the Togo flag represents freedom and justice.

  6. Government Facts .Togo’s type of Government is Republic .Suffrage is eighteen .National anthem of Togo is ‘’ Salut a toi pays de nos deux’’ .Constitution adopted on September 27,1992 . Independence day on September 27th

  7. Religion To begin with,intriguing fact about Togo’s religion is that Togo only has three religion; christianity, Mormonism, and Indigenous beliefs. Indigenous means specific beliefs to the country. Also, did you know Christianity was founded in 30 AD by Jesus Christ. The bible is the religions holy texts. In addition, another main religion is mormonism which was founded by Joseph Smith in 1830. They study the christian bible. To sum up, Togo has three main religions.

Because of Olympio Eyadema dissolves government Leader jailed. which leads to first president Later REplaced by Nicolas Togo got a new president. protests. Thousands flee to Demonstrators Sylvanus Olympio Grunitzky. The new president is Eyadema neighboring counties. take the streets

  9. Animals, Plants, &Natural Resources In the first place, animals and plants in Togo are very interesting and fun to learn about. Namely, the African Manatee is very fascinating because it weighs up to 790 pounds and measures up to 4.5 m! Next, I’m going to talk about plants which include, the Tamarimal which measures 18 meters, Dradcalma Fragrans which measures up to 15 meters, and finally Trema Orientalis which can be used to treat coughs . In conclusion, Togo’s plants and animals are very appealing to talk about.
