  4. There are dozens of treatments for permanent hair removal in Mumbai, but very few are really permanent, and one of those is laser hair removal. Some of the primary concerns among people considering this treatment is regarding how permanent it really is, and will the procedure be painful. Here are some factors that affect the results of laser hair removal.

  5. Area Being Treated One may notice that the hair that grows on your legs are different that those that grow on your underarms, which are different than those that grow on your pubic region. And in all these areas hair grows differently. This is mainly because the human body produces two separate types of hair – one that is coarse and rough hair and grows on the men’s face and in the pubic area, and another is thin soft hair that grows on the arms and the lower back. And the type of hair affects how permanent the hair removal will be. In laser hair removal treatment, the lighter hair is more problematic than the coarser ones.

  6. Dark coarse hairs are much easier for the laser to be targeted. Therefore, if you have light hair in the area you need hair removal, it will surely lessen the amount of hair, but may not remove it permanently. Hair Growth Cycle A permanent hair removal may require multiple sessions for best results. The number of sessions that would be needed depends on the cycle of hair growth. The cycle of hair growth determines the permanence of the hair removal as well.

  7. The hair growth cycle occurs in 3 stages, and each hair is at different stages in the cycle. The first stage of hair growth cycle is called the anagen stage. It is the only stage when the hair is visible and also the only stage where laser hair removal could be effective. The next two stages are catagen and telogen, where the hair growth slows down drastically, and hair follicles die off, respectively. With multiple sessions, hairs in anagen stage is allowed to grow to be targeted effectively.

  8. Skin Colour Skin colour affects the effectiveness of laser hair removal. By rule, the lower contrast there is between the skin colour and the hair colour, the tougher it would be to achieve a complete hair removal. A higher contrast between the skin colour and the hair makes it easier for the laser to detect the hair follicle. A typical candidate for a laser hair removal is a person with fair or light skin and dark hair. As the pigment of the skin and hair becomes closer in colour, it will be more difficult to see an effective result.
