For this quarter in FLES class, we will cover the theme of Sports and Hobbies (los deportes y pasatiempos). Your child will learn about:
(1) names of sports, (2) name of hobbies, (3) and the date and time for practicing sports. As a culmination to this theme, your child will be asked to create and presenta poster .The presentation will be about his/her favorite sport or hobby using the vocabulary learned in FLES class. This presentation will be started and worked on during class. Please have students finish anything not completed in class and practice their presentation at home. The presentation is due by the end of the second quarter.
The question structures below, which will be covered in class, must be included in your child’s presentation. Your child may include more, but these are the minimum requirements. The questions below are provided for your information. Students will bring home their own copy which was filled out in class. Your child will be allowed to use his/her draft when presenting their visual, if desired.
