FY09 Key Achievements • TASK (informal) • Review and comment on “Draft NNSA Defense Nuclear Security, Safeguards and Security Evaluation and Performance Assurance Program” • Review and comment on “Draft Proposal to adopt the national executive branch standard of issuing traditional security clearances” • Development of Standard EFCOG presentation for use by membership • Board recommendation for tracking membership

FY09 Key Achievements • TASK (informal) • Presentation at the Waste Management Conference – March 09 • Presentation at the INMM – July 09 • Presentation at the NSIE – September 09 • Completed Working Group and Subgroups Charter review and revisions. • Hosted a track presentation at the ISM conference – August 09

FY 10 Key Achievements To Date • Quarterly working group meeting at Sandia National Lab. • Continuing GC review of relationships and sharing with outside organizations UK-NDA • Reviewed Lessons learned activities and program at LANL • Supported ISM/QA/Contractor Assurance joint meeting • Planning meeting for Jan Working Group Mtg

FY10 Forecast of Activities • MEETINGS • Continue quarterly working group meetings • Support EFCOG Annual and Semiannual mtgs • Combined meeting with RSSWG & CAWG • Continue outside organizational interfaces • INMM panel session • Define/Finalize UK – NDA relationship • TASK • Finalize Proforce Injury Rate • Finalize Peer Review Recommendations

FY10 Forecast of Activities • TASK • Finalize 10CFR824 Implementation Checklist • Rescope/finalize NMMSS review recommendation with sponsor concurrence • Define and initiate Metric II study to support DNS • Define and implement an “In Teach” methodology for MC&A professionals • Develop white paper proposal for “internet social networking” task • Develop and pilot an IMI workshop

Collaboration with other WGs Collaboration based on defining working relationships (TROSSI) • Support continued meetings with the SSRWG • IMI and compliance coordination of 10CFR824 • Support continued meetings with the CASWG • Metrics for Safeguards and Security • Engage and support the HCWG in defining Safeguards and Security critical needs.

Problems/Issues • Continue to develop the appropriate relationship between the EFCOG Cyber Security Working Group and the NLDC Cyber Subcommittee. • Develop and engage more support from member companies. (Non M&O’s) • How do we keep from falling into the trap of “support services organization”? • Continue to develop the correct sponsor/steering committee relationship.
