  4. Brothers In 5 or less words describe Charlie and Tommo’s relationship, in your opinion. For example: They play together. They ‘x’, Charlie ‘y’ Tommo, Tommo ‘z’ Charlie. NOT: They’re brothers • “Charlie always knows how it is” (Page 8).

  5. Note this down • Brotherly love and friendship is a key theme in this book. Keep a close eye on what Charlie and Tommo do for each other.

  7. The point • “I have the bravest brother in the world.” (page 24) • “Now I know for sure that I will love her till the day I die.” (Page 25) • Tommo is surrounded by people who protect and care for him. As much as anything, they define who he is and who he shall become.
