  2. Starter: Which photo do you find most interesting/ relevant? Explain Why?

  3. What do all of these detectives have in common? What makes them so good at their job? They all try to solve a mystery by using clues and evidence: they come up with a possible theory and try to prove it using the evidence.

  4. Task: • You will be working in pairs. • You have to use the clues to answer the question ‘Why is the World Cup important to Cape Town?’ • There are some Red Herrings in the clues. • How did you reach your decision? What process did you go through? • Can you link any reasons together?
