  2. What do people like to do in Spain in their free time? The people of Spain use their free time in the same way as most developed countries. You’regoingtoseewhatSpanishteenagerslikethemost:

  3. LISTENING TO MUSIC Most of Spanishteenagers listen tomusictofeelrelaxed .Someteenagerswhentheyfeelbad, listen tomusictoforgettheirproblems and feelbetter.

  4. MEET FRIENDS AND FAMILY -Spanishpeoplegoout at weekendswithfriendstohavedinner, tohave a party and tohavefun. -Weoftenvisitourfamilytoo (grandparents…) FACT!: Whenwemeetmale and femalekisseachotheronbothcheeks, maleonlyshakehands as a greeting.

  6. SURFING THE INTERNET Mostof spanishteenagersplayvideogames and computergames. Now in their free time, theypreferplayvideogamesinstead ofreadinga bookorgoingoutwiththeirfriends. Alsospanishteenagershave a lot of social networkslike, facebook, tuenti, twitter… Theyspend a lot of time there.

  7. READING BOOKS OR MAGAZINES Spanishpeopleoftenreadnewspapers, magazines orbooks. Teenagers are saidtoreadsomebooksforthehighschool. Weoftenliketoreadbooks of sciencefiction, lovebooks, oranytipe of book.

  8. GOING TO THE CINEMA Most of people in Spaingotothecinematoseethenewest films onwinterbecauseit´scold. In Manzanares wehaven´tgotcinemabutwehave “Casa de la Cultura” a kind of theatrewherewecan watch films orwegoto Valdepeñas , thenearestcinema.

  9. DO SPORTS In Spain, sport isoneof themostrelevantthing.Manypeoplemeettowatchthematchesand havefunwiththeirfriends and family. Football, basketball and handballare themostimportantsports. Manypeopletobefit, goouttorunwiththeirrelativesorgototheswimming pool. Here, we’vegotteams and we compete withothertowns.

  10. TAKE A “SIESTA” Specially in summer, it’scommontosleepafterhaving lunch, wefeeltired, wegotothesofa and wesleepfor 1h more orless. That’swhatwecalltotake a “siesta”.

  11. PLAY INSTRUMENTS Lots of people in Spainplayaninstrumentlikethe piano, theflute, theviolin, the guitar, thedrums… And theygotoattendclassesortheyplay in a band. There are somechoirstoo.

  12. CRAFTS Somepeopleattendcookinglessons, beadwork, ortheypaint. Now, there are peoplewho do craftswithrecycledthings.

  13. DO THE DIY (DO IT YOURSELF) In ourhouses, ourparents use tofixthethingsthat are broken.They fix plugs, bulbs… At weekends they cleanand wash the car.

  14. FARMING Mostof peoplehere in Spainhave a cottage and theyplanttheir vegetables such as potatoes, tomatoesand others. Thentheycollectallthe vegetables and do deliciousdishesortheysellthemtoshops.

  15. TRAVELLING Travelisanamazingactivitythat a lot of people do. Spanishpeopleontheirholidays, traveltobeautifulplaces withtheirrelativestofeelrelaxed and rest.

  16. STUDY ANOTHER LANGUAGE In Spain, in our free time welearnanotherlenguagestoo. Forexample, westudyGerman and Englishin theOfficialLanguageSchool.
