  1. Day 5: Modifying Office Letters

  2. File menu->Options->Advanced-> Show Document Content-> Check Show text boundaries Showing Text Boundaries

  3. Click Page Layout Menu->Down Arrow in Page Setup Group-> Click Layout tab-> Click Borders Button-> Click Page Border Tab • Setting Page Border

  4. Click the Left and Right Border as shown in the diagram. • Then Click Options Setting Page Border

  5. Choose Text from Measure from: • Then you can Increase/ Decrease Margins. • Click OK. Setting Page Border

  6. Place the Cursor where you want to add the file path • Go to the Insert tab > Text group • Click Quick Part->Choose Field • In the Field Name, choose FileName • And then, Check Add path to fileName. • Click OK. Note: if you want to add the path at the footer/ header, insert them first. Putting File Path in the Document

  7. Setting the Password to your Document

  8. When the Encrypt document dialog appear, type your password. Setting the Password to your Document

  9. When the Confirm Password dialog appear, type your password identical to the previous password. Setting the Password to your Document
