  6. Semester 1, 2017 • Intermediate Mathematics equivalent (Maths B) and MATH1051 (first uni maths course) • Beginning of lecture

  8. The use of the UniDoodle app helped me be active in class

  9. The fact that my answers were anonymous encouraged me to submit my response in class

  13. Student comments Intermediate Mathematics equivalent • Use it more often! • The UniDoodleapp was super effective and made the lecture more engaging! The best part of it was the answers were anonymous hence even if your answer was wrong you didn't feel embarrassed by it. It was more of a learning opportunity. • I liked that it was anonymous. • Need more time on UniDoodleapp in class to understand common mistakes made by students despite the understanding of concepts.

The UniDoodleapp makes it obvious where students have trouble. • Use at start of the class to revise what was learnt last lesson but not through middle of class. • I enjoyed using the UniDoodleapp and I think because it was fun to use it helped students engage and enjoy the lecture. It helped me identify whether I understood the content.

Teaching evaluation comments MATH1040 Intermediate Mathematics equivalent • I also appreciate the in-lecture concept tests with UniDoodle. • The little questions at the beginning of the class recapping the previous lecture were a great way to make sure you were actually understanding the content from the previous lecture before moving onto the lecture of the day, and putting the answers up on UniDoodlemade you feel good when you saw you were right and also good when you saw you were wrong because you were never the only one.
