  • Political, economic, geographic, and social characteristics are the foundations of ANY civilization.
  • The development of a society’s P.E.G.S. began when:
    • 1. Common languages developed
    • 2. People speaking the same language followed a leader
    • 3. Common customs and beliefs were formed
    • 4. People worked together to develop a city
    • 5. Sets of laws and rules were practiced in the city
