  2. What is Tetra? • Tetra Society of North America is an organization dedicated to building assistive devices for people with special needs and disabilities.

What can you do? • Design, build, and plan the project for an assistive device • Communicate with clients • Brainstorm/generate device solution ideas • Through email, on Facebook • Sign up for workshops • Machine shop ~monthly with George Brown • AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc. in the future • Generate projects • Do you know someone who could benefit from Tetra? • Develop an outreach program

  5. What have we done? • Sip and Puff Project • Controlling a TV remote using an airflow sensor and a microcontroller.

  6. What have we done? • Deaf Concert Project • Device that simulates music through vibrations • Finished device taken to an actual concert
