1. Lost on Lantau Last Sunday afternoon Mr and Mrs Ho went hiking on Lantau. They got lost and it was dark. Mrs Ho said, ‘Oh! Where are we now? What should we do?’ Luckily they saw an old man. ‘How far is it from here to the nearest bus stop ?’ asked Mrs Ho.’ ‘It’s not far. It’s one and a half kilometres,’ answered the old man and he showed them the way. They arrrived at the bus stop but they missed the bus. Then Mr Ho took out his mobile phone and called a taxi. Finally they got back to the pier. They were very tired so they fell asleep on the ferry. Wong Ka Wai, Ada 3A

2. In the Park Mandy and Peter were good friends. Mandy was short and fat. Her ears were small. She was timid. Peter was tall and thin. He had a big mouth. He was very brave. They went to the park in Kwun Tong. They ate ice-cream and played together. Suddenly they saw a dog. The dog was big and black. Mandy was afraid. Peter picked up a branch and waved it. The dog went away. Mandy and Peter kept on eating their ice-cream. Mandy and Peter were happy because they had a nice day. Lim Hoi Ying, Vicky 3A

3. A Time Machine Andy and Bob were good friends. Andy was tall and thin. His ears were small. He was helpful and polite. Bob was tall and thin too. He had short hair. He was very naughty. They went to Ma On Shan in 1994. They rode bicycles and took some photos. Suddenly they were very hungry. On the way, they saw a man. The man was an English but they couldn’t speak in English. Luckily, the man could speak in Cantonese. He gave Andy and Bob some eggs. They were happy because they made a new friend. Lo Chun Ming, Daniel 3A

4. Went Hiking Rainbow, Kitty, Joe and Leo were best friends. They were thin. Rainbow and Leo were tall but Joe and Kitty were short. Rainbow was beautiful. Leo was handsome. They went in the time machine in Sai Kung. It was in 1998. They saw a forest and had a barbecue in it. Suddenly they saw a long snake. It was fierce. They were afraid. They gave it some food and then they ran away. They were unhappy because they didn’t have a great picnic. Tse Ki Tung, Tony 3B

5. Good Holiday Tom and Tony were good friends. Tom was fat and short. His eyes were small. He was naughty. Tony was thin and tall. His eyes were small too. He was polite. They went in the time machine in Sai Kung. It was in 2002. They swam in the sea and built a sandcastle at the beach. There was a shark in the sea. They were scared. They swam away. 6. A Diary Sunday 22nd April, 2011 Warm and Dry It was warm and dry today so I went to Ocean Park with my family. In the morning, I had breakfast and sang a song with my big brother at home. We were very happy. In the afternoon, we went to Ocean Park. Firstly, my big brother and I played a game. It is called ‘Merry-go-round’. It was fun. Then we watched a funny dolphin show. I was hungry in the evening so we had a yummy dinner in the restaurant. The food was very yummy. I was very full. I was very happy today. Lo Choi Hung Rainbow 3B

7. The time machine Mike was my best friend. He sat next to me. He was tall and fat. He had a big mouth and long hair. Everyone liked him. I liked him because he was polite. He did not shout at me. We used the time machine. We went to Sai Kung in 1842. we saw a beautiful beach and swam in the sea. Suddenly we saw a girl. The girl had long hair. We were afraid. But the girl was nice. 8. The time machine Bob was my best classmate. He sat in front of me. He was short. He had big eyes and short hair. I liked him because he was polite. We went to Kwun Tong in 1842. We saw a beautiful park and took some photos. Suddenly we saw a man. The man had big ears. We were afraid. But the man was polite. He gave us some food. We were happy because we made a new friend. 9. A Diary Sunday 8th May Sunny It was hot today so I stayed at home all day. In the morning I played the computer games and painted a picture. I was happy in the afternoon so I watched a cartoon and chatted with my friends. My house was messy so I tidied my house. After that, I was tired. In the evening, my uncle and his family visited us. 10. A Time Machine Bobby and I were best friends. I was tall and thin. My legs were very long. I was a smart boy. Bobby was short and fat. He had two big eyes. He was a very naughty boy. We were very strong. We went to Nam Wan on Hong Kong Island on 1st June, 1941. We went there by our time machine. But in 1841, there was no Ocean Park. We played football, badminton and went fishing. Suddenly, we caught three big fish but the fish were very naughty. So, we put them into three boxes. Then, we took the boxes to Miss Lo’s home because Miss Lo and the classmates were waiting for us. 11. My Diary 1st December, 2010 (Wednesday) Sunny It was sunny today and I was happy to see my mum and dad. In the morning it was sunny so I went to the Lantau Island with my dad and mum. We visited the Giant Buddha. In the afternoon we went to the Ocean Park. We watched the dolphin show and rode on the cable car. In the evening I had a birthday party at KFC. Many people came to my party and they gave me a lot of gifts. I was happy. I was very happy today because I had an unforgettable day. Yu Sau Yin, Candy 3D

12. My Diary 30th April, 2011 (Saturday) Sunny It was sunny today so I went out and had fun. In the morning I had breakfast in McDonald’s. Then, I went to the Happy Supermarket with my mother. We bought a can of beans, two bottles of apple juice and a box of chocolates. In the afternoon I had lunch with my two elder sisters. I was bored so I played with them.
