Customer Requirement The proliferation of Man Portable Air Defense Systems (MANPADS) missiles as well as known surface to air and air to air threats require aircraft self-protection equipment to enhance the survivability of head of state and military aircrew and aircraft. The desired protection level against current and future threats requires technical analysis of Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) capabilities, interoperability, sustainability, life cycle costs and export licensing requirements.

Gulfstream ASE Options Today • Electro Optic/Infra Red • AN/ALQ-204 Matador Infra-Red Counter Measure (IRCM) • AN/AAQ-24 Directed Infra-Red Counter Measure (DIRCM)-United States Government Only • Radio Frequency (RF) Situational Awareness & CM • None • Limited options encourages international customers to approach third party ASE suppliers.
