  2. Project goal Through the teaching and practice of this course, we hope to let youth learn the traditional art of paper flower making and develop stability and artistry.

  4. Class Locations and Times • Locations: Taiwan Taipei Juvenile Detention Center, Ping Classroom. • Times: Friday 14:00-16:00 two periods of 50 minutes each.

Program instructor: Hsu Hsiao Fong • Introduction • Chinese Flower Crafts Promotion Foundation -Certified Instructor • Ivy Cotton Paper Arts Center, Graduate of Tear Tech Art with Cotton Paper Research Class • Canadian Nobel Education center, Certified Instructor for Tear Tech Art with Cotton Paper. • Experience: • 1.2006-2007 • a. Chang Kai Shek Memorial Hall Paper Flower Instructor, also invited to the International Paper Flower Exhibition at Chang Kai Shek Memorial Hall. • b. Ban-Chiao City Hall 435 Art Gallery Invitational Exhibition, Yi-lan traditional art Center invitational exhibition • c. Ban-Chiao City Hall Cultural Art Gallery exhibition • d.   6. Class Contents: Various types of paper flower teaching and making

  7. Predicted Results: Allow youth to be familiar with various paper flower making materials and creativity and includes regular exhibitions. Not only can this establish self-confidence and as sense of accomplishment, it can also promote the home decoration.

  8. Our Expectations Paper contains rich and diverse possibilities. It can be used to create personalized pieces of art and decorate living areas. We hope that through the teaching of paper flower making, youth can see that there is a good side to life and learn the values of it.

  9. Exhibition of achievements During the course of this program, we found that many youth have excellent potential to handcraft the ordinary paper into colorful works of flower art that brought many pleasures and enjoyments.

  10. Exhibition of achievements Through the teaching of arts and crafts, we not only hope youth can learn some skill, we also hope that youth can see a more graceful side of themselves. We deeply believe that through the teaching of arts, we can positively affect the hearts and souls of these youth.
