  3. Atlas • An atlas is a map. • If you want to find a specific place, street, road, city, or state. Thesaurus • In a thesaurus, you will find synonyms for words. • Wonderful –Synonyms:great, magnificent, excellent, terrific, cool, and fantastic • Also in a thesaurus you will find an antonym for the word. • Wonderful-Antonyms: horrible, awful

  4. Dictionary • We use a dictionary to look up words meanings. Encyclopedia • An encyclopedia is used when someone wants to find information about a person, place, or thing.

  5. Periodicals • Provide the most up to date information • Are received on a regular basis • Examples: Magazines and newspapers NOW LET’S SEE WHAT YOU KNOW!
