Excellence in ALL Toastmasters’ Meetings • A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere. • There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another’s presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success. • Meeting participants also give impromptu talks on assigned topics, conduct meetings and develop skills related to timekeeping, grammar and parliamentary procedure.

DCP Program The following were identified to meet goals: • 2 Competent Communicators – Philip, Nica • 2 more Competent Communicators s – Janette, Noemi • Back – up – Meghan, Sunshine, Honey • 1 Advance Communicator – Dexie • 1 more Advance Communicator – Noemi • 1 Competent Leader – Beng • 1 more Competent Leader – Wena • Back-up – Dex, Jeck • 4 new members – Honey, Lei, Rochelle, Diandra • 4 more members – Jocel, All will recruit • Officers’ Training – July 19, at least 4 will attend • Submission of Club Officer’s List (done by Jeck), payment of dues on time • Everybody agreed that we should again meet all 10 goals.

  11. DCP incentive program • Janette suggested an incentive program to encourage members to attain goals. • To be discussed with body

  12. Beyond DCP • SmedleyAward – 5 new members from Aug. 1 to Sep. 30 • Talk Up TM – 5 new members • Beat the Clock – 5 new members

  13. Proposed new penalty system • TM – P 5 per Ah, maximum of 100 • CC/AC – P 10 per Ah, no max • DTM – P 15 per Ah, no max
