Immediate Goal: All of our schools have communicated our safety message to all students through a school wide assembly, discuss safety tip items and answered questions. • Build and distribute PSA for Schools, DAC, SAC and PTA groups to use (Near completion) • Long Range Goals: Develop and fund a sustainable safety program to educate our students on proper pedestrian safety. Changing attitudes and behaviors through education, community outreach and enforcement • Site based reviews: • Technology and design counter-measures • Adequate walk space for students • Leading Pedestrian Interval at crossings • Addition of School Warning Signs and Pavement Markings where needed Committee Review
