    2. WORD TO DEFINE: MYTHOLOGY Definition: Mythology is a story that uses the SUPERNATURAL to explain the natural world or to explain human nature.

    3. Word used in context: According to Greek mythology, the ocean was controlled by a powerful god named Poseidon. Whenever the sea was stormy, sailors believed that Poseidon was angry.

    5. WORD TO DEFINE: EPIC POEM Definition of Epic Poem: a long, narrative poem about the adventures of a hero or a god / goddess.

    6. Word used in context: The Odyssey is one of the most famous epic poems ever written.
