  2. Goals My goals are as follows: • ·To improve my college study skills. • ·To use time effectively. • ·To remain focused on preset goals. • ·To use a daily planner. • ·To adhere to a daily assignment • schedule. • ·To review notes daily. • Ultimately, the adoption of these new study methods will improve my ability to retain, comprehend and master college level course material. Time management is essential to this goal.

  3. Background Information I have presently adhered to the goals listed above in waves, meaning I attempted to study routinely and attend all classes routinely. However, I am involved with many community and church activities and I must still prioritize things more carefully. Therefore, I have created a disciplined but well-planned planner with daily assignments required. I attempted to remain focused on accomplishing the tasks before me as well as balancing my part-time job, community and church activities.

  10. Work Effort

  11. I did not follow the time-allotted schedule completely but I did give a good effort. I noticed that it was easier to adhere to the schedule as the semester progressed. I anticipate next semester will be great. I spent ~ 10 hours a week studying outside the classroom. As for the LSK project, I did not spend more that 4 hours during the entire semester to prepare for my presentation.

  12. Evaluation

  13. ·The results of my study project were bitter sweet. I had to drop French and concentrate more on Chemistry. I expect to get 3 A’s and a hard C this semester. ·I think that I could have spent more time studying and I could have been more diligent in following my daily assignment schedule. ·I learned that I study better in the library than at home and I study better in the evening that early morning. ·If I could start the project over, I would be more disciplined. ·Also having breakfast was key for me and taking the weekend to do what I wanted.
