F.O.D.AEl FODA es una herramienta relativamente simple y generalizada en la toma de decisiones estratégicas.Su objetivo es ayudar a la organización a encontrar sus factores estratégicos críticos, para usarlos, una vez identificados, y apoyar en ellos los cambios organizacionales: consolidando las fortalezas, minimizando las debilidades, aprovechando las ventajas de las oportunidades, y eliminando o reduciendo las amenazas. El análisis FODA permite llevar a cabo una serie de estrategias de acuerdo con la importancia de cada uno de los factores internos y externos, así como ordenarlas de acuerdo con la relación que exista entre cada uno de ellos.
