Sentence Combining. Objective: We will combine short sentences into longer and more sophisticated sentences in order to improve our writing skills. The Fox and the Crow. A Fox saw a Crow. The Crow was flying. The Crow had some cheese. Her beak held the cheese. (Strong 30).
