Notice of Award Go Live • Functionality Go Live: October 15, 2013 • October 15th:Letter announcing New PI Training disseminated • October 15th: SPS Web New Release* • January 6, 2014: Should required New PI Training not have been completed, Error will result when status is set to Awarded. Award will be held until Training has been completed • SPS Web Release* • Check applies to: PIs, Multiple PIs, Co-PIs, Mini PIs and PI-Fellows • RCC Email Notifications to be sent out from ORS/ORA [to initiator and person who needs to complete training] • New RCC Waiver Field for campus eRA@Duke 2013

CAS/Rebudgeting Go Live • Pilot Go Live: October 31, 2013 • Full Rollout Go Live: targeted late January 2014 • CAS/Rebudgeting Functionality Highlights • CAS/Rebudget Form • Integration of SPS and SAP • Electronic routing and approvals improve process time • Automatic update of plan once approved by pre-award office • Automatic calculations and reduction of manual entry • CAS Report • Real time access to CAS data and potential non-compliance • Departments/Offices Participating in Pilot • ORA • ORS • OSP • RCC eRA@Duke 2013
