What are endangered species? • Can you think of any animals that are endangered? • In 1983 Andy Warhol created a series of ten color screenprints that portrayed endangered animals from around the world: Siberian tiger, San Francisco silverspot , prangutan, Grevy’s zebra, black rhinoceros , bighorn ram, African elephant, pine barrens tree frog, giant panda and bald eagle.

  6. Creating Art is a good way • To let others know about endangered species and express social concern for our environment.
