Classrooms • We have 21 classes and 1 preliminary class • In our school are 2 classrooms with interactive boards • We have chemistry and physics classrooms, 2 computer labs (24 computers), 2 large gyms and 1 sand gym with climbing wall, art atelier and workshop, recording studio, practice kitchen and assembly hall

  4. Assemblyhall • We use it for: • assembly of all students (2-3 times per year) • Christmas show • other shows like Carneval, Talent shows, theatre plays, discotheques and so on • our sport results presentations • prevence meetings with external partners or school psychologist

  7. Schoolactivities • Antifetfest • It is a children film festival. Students make their own movies to warn against drugs, alcohol and other dangerous behaviour. • Our school is very successful! • Sports • We participate in sport competitions among Prague schools on regular basis. Especially in athletics, football, basketball and floorball. • Choirs • Our school has two choirs called Sun and Cloud.

  8. Charity and environmental activities • African girl (highschool) • Penguin in Prague ZOO • plastic bottle caps • paper • bateries • chestnuts for forest animals • used clothes for Deaconess in Broumov • “Srdíčkové dny“ – for children cancer research

Modřany – Our city part • Name Modřany comes fromblue hyacinth, a typical flower. • History • First settlement was probably called Modřiluhy. • At the beginning of 20th century it was village with lots of family houses. • Since 1968 part of Prague. • In 1977 started a construction of many prefabs. • Around Modřany are a lot of forests.

Sightseeings • Modřanská rokle (valley) • Famous for cycling and walking routes, playgrounds and many rare plants and animals. • Forest park Kamýk • There is a little zoo with goats, ducks and hens and you can see there wild pheasant, woodpecker and other birds. • Police academy • Modřanský biograf • Small local cinema with pub.

  11. Sightseeings • Cukrovar (sugar factory) • Its already after demolition, but still important part of our history. • VOSA (Public relax and sport areal) • Public area for children with playgrounds, sport fields and benches for relax • Youth community centre • Church
