Advanced, or Tertiary Treatment -Membrane Bioreactor (just an example…) • At a premium shopping mall in Connecticut, the 150 m3/day of wastewater generated by the 40,000-m2center is processed through an on-site CycleLetsystem and re-used as toilet and urinal flush-water. With this technology, the actual discharge to the environment is reduced to less than 25 m3/day of tertiary quality effluent. • 1 m3 =1000 liters !!!!
