The record displayed shows is a typical example of Patron record in a directory. The record in the directory will look as follows Patron Example Patron ‘Example Patron’ has been used in place of an individual’s name, the name of an organisation such as a Patronage Board or the name of a post such as ‘Diocesan Bishop’. No address will be display as the address does not need printing in the year book. However it is most helpful to have an internal list of patrons for administration. This can be achieved as follows.
The example address is stored but will not be displayed because of DPA permissions.
The YB Withheld tick box means that whilst the address will not be published it will still appear on labels and contact listings.
Often there will be multiple Patrons in a benefice. Should a simple list be required they can be listed as below.
In the directory they will appear as displayed(other posts blacked out)
If free text is required a good option is to put the text in the ‘Post Title’ box above.
