  3. Matthew 22:42 saying, “What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?” They said to Him, “The Son of David.” • Jesus was the son of David according to the flesh. • Romans 1:3 concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, The son of david

His works prove that He is God • John 10:37-38 If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; 38 but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe[a] that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.” • John 7:31 And many of the people believed in Him, and said, “When the Christ comes, will He do more signs than these which this Man has done?” • John 3:2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” Jesus: more than the son of david

  18. He had power over the forces of nature • Matthew 8:23-27 – The wind and sea obeyed Him. • Matthew 14:24-33 – He walked on water. • John 2:1-11 – He turned water into wine. Jesus: more than the son of david

Some of these miracles were written down to produce faith in us. • John 20:30f - And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name Jesus: more than the son of david
