  2. Biography Se llama Sonia Maria Sotomayor. Sonia was born in The Bronx, New York with a Puerto Rican descent. When Sonia was 8, she was diagnosed with diabetes. She graduated from Princeton University and then received a J.D. from Yale Law School. Sonia Sotomayor vive en Nueva York. She was nominated by Barack Obama to the Supreme court. By August 2009, Sonia was an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. Sonia was the 111th justice. She was the 1st Hispanic justice and 3rd women justice.
  3. 1st accomplishment Sonia le gustair a la escuela. Sonia went to two Ivy League schools on full scholarships While at Princeton, she was a part of the Puerta Rican activist group, and made a difference throughout the college. Sonia es muy intelligente. Sonia received multiple honorary law degrees from many colleges. She received these law degrees from Lehman College, Princeton University, Brooklyn Law School, Pace University School of Law, Northeastern University School of Law, Howard University, St. Lawrence University, and New York University.
