  • Example:

    • I either wanted to go to the Michael Bubleor Blake Shelton concerts.

  • But wait, that sounds weird!

  • Usually we leave the word either out.

  • Example:

    • I wanted to go to the Michael Buble or Blake Shelton concerts.

Neither…nor

  • Use the pairing of neither and nor to form a negative relationship.

  • Examples:

    • These shoes are neither comfortable nor cute.

    • I could neither laugh nor cry.
