  5. Our Goal • The Math Department wants to EXCEED the expectation! • 100 percent passing on STAAR with 25 percent or greater at Commended!! • All students are capable of being SUCCESSFUL!!!

  14. STAAR Testing Dates Mathematics – 4/23 Reading – 4/24 (last year’s dates- may change)

  15. STAAR Boot Camp • Tutorials by-appointment(Monday before school and Friday after school) • During 8th grade testing

  16. Late Work and Corrections • Fill out a “Zero Slip” • 5 days from the day that the assignment was due to turn in late work. • 15 pts. off for late work • Corrections are done in class only. • Corrections are done on assessments only. • 5 days from the day the assessment was given.
