  9. PIECE OF GUNNY BAGS IN ORDER TO COVER BASKET • GARBAGE OR WASTE MATERIAL • UNWANTED THINGS • PAPER &TEA POWDER THROUGHLY USED • FRUIT PEELS

  10. PROCEDURE • COVER THE BUCKET WITH MOSQUITO NET • USE PAPER AT BOTTOM FOR STIFFNESS • TRAY REQUIRED TO COLLECT WATER • SOAK COWDUNG CAKE &SUGARCANE BAGASSE IN WATER FOR 3-4 HRS • PUT SUGAR BAGASSE IN BUCKET

  11. THICKNESS OF LAYERS SHOULD BE WITHIN 3 INCHES • SECOND LAYER OF COWDUNG CAKE SOAKED IN WATER ABOUT 3 INCHES • 15-20 ISENA VETERA WORMS REQUIRED • CUT THE FRESH FOOD IN PIECES WHICH WILL LATER GET DECOMPOSE • SPRINKLE LITTLE WATER • USE PAPER WITH HOLES OR GUNNY BAGS.

  14. CONCLUSION • REMOVE THE WORMS AND COLLECT IN THE CONTAINER HAVING SOAKED COWDUNG • MAKE HOLES AT THE TOP OF THE CONTAINER TO ALLOW AIR TO GO INSIDE • THIS IS HOW VERMI COMPOST IS MADE

  15. OTHER INFORMATION • EVERYDAY SPRINKLE LITTLE AMOUNT OF WATER SO THAT THE DECOMPOSITION PROCEDURE BECOMES FASTER • WATER COLLECTED FROM HOLES IS CALLED VERMI WASH WHICH IS USEFUL FOR GROWTH OF PLANTS.
