The capital of south Yemen is Aden. Yemen shares borders with Saudi Arabia and Oman. Yemen is a democratic republic.

  5. Number of Arabic speakers in the world There are 22 countries in the Middle East speaking Arabic as a common language. There are approximately 300,000,000 Arabic speakers worldwide.
