  3. Registration for Oral Boards Complete your registration online (Clark website, Senior Projects page) by midnight on March 31. Identify yourself correctly

  6. Registration for Oral Boards • Student photographers and videographers will be recording events. They will not interrupt, but would be in the room during the presentation; let us know what is comfortable for you.

  11. Registration for Oral Boards We will try to have the firewall lowered, but you should have a back-up plan if you need the internet: the school doesn’t have total control of keeping it available.

  15. Registration for Oral Boards • Is anyone else participating as part of your presentation? (For most of you, NO) If that someone is a senior at Clark, please type his/her name so that both of you can be scheduled accordingly.

  17. Preparing for Oral Boards Day • Dress professionally • Allow plenty of time to arrive • Don’t bring an audience: it’s time to be a professional - not a child, friend, or sibling • Wait quietly until called in • Present • Leave quietly

  18. Presenting Controversial subjects • Might your topic offend? Approach it carefully - allow for differences of opinion. • Might your photos/video be graphic? Warn the judges before you show them. • Might something be shocking? Warn them and introduce it carefully.

  21. Presenting Be professional and flexible. If the room arrangement is not what you need, simply say “Excuse me just a moment while I rearrange these desks for the presentation.” Then rearrange them and move on. That will make you look much better than complaining, “This is so not what I requested.” DIVAS

  22. Presenting  If you do run into a technological problem during your presentation, there will be tech support available. Call the office – 1258 – and politely request tech support. • “I need tech support with a mac/pc in room #______, please.” • We will send someone right away. Thank the students who help you. It will make you look good.
