Casting. Character: Gerald Cohen. Played by Ben Wodecki, Ben is a short specimen of a teenager, and so when playing the character of a bullied teenager it would mean he would look inferior to his bullies due to his height.

  2. Character: Gerald Cohen Played by Ben Wodecki, Ben is a short specimen of a teenager, and so when playing the character of a bullied teenager it would mean he would look inferior to his bullies due to his height. Ben’s hair colour is that of Ginger/Red. The often thought inferior hair colour is looked down upon and therefore means that ben’s hair would add to his character immensely.

  3. Character: Harry Smith Played by Curtis Trudgeon. Curtis is very much taller than Ben. Meaning that idea of him seeing superior to Ben through height would mean my film would look more believable. Curtis has the body type of someone who attends the Gym. This would allow him to look a lot more scarier when bullying the protagonist allowing him to look the part.

  4. Character: Gerald’s Mum Played by Caroline Wodecki. A mother in real life. This actress plays the part of a concerned mother and by using the whining groan in her voice allows her to seem sympathetic to Gerald despite her advice being utterly useless. By also being a small actress it allows the audience to see that Gerald’s Height was inherited by his mother – making Gerald look almost feminine through his Genetics.

  5. Character: “Friend” Of Gerald 1 Played by Hollie Travers. Hollie is a well renowned actress who takes A level drama and has appeared in school productions, meaning she has the credentials to create a great performance. Hollie also can manipulate and change her voice so she sounds more unpleasant, as which her character is hostile towards Gerald.

  6. Character: Gerald’s Father Played By Simon Wodecki. Simon Plays the Father Of Gerald, The father of Gerald is a fiery character who instructs Gerald to get revenge on his bully. Simon acting range allows him to be angry and construct angry feelings with great ability.

  7. Character: Matron Played by Matron Whitehead. Matron Whitehead is our school’s Nurse. A perfect opportunity to utilise her as an actress as her outfit for mise-en-scene purposes means that she fits the part perfectly.

  8. Character: DJ T-Dog Played by Matthew Peter Terrell. Matt is a current Radio DJ for Radio Sheldon, my school’s radio station. By using this ability matt knows and looks the part when sat in the radio room. His character wears clothing around the film “The Avengers”, seen as nerdy by other children. This is done to contradict his lines when he insults Gerald who is also Nerdy.

  9. Character: “Friend” Of Gerald 2 Played by Tasha Young. Holly’s co-character Tasha is also a key dramatist and performs outside of school in productions meaning she is going to give a good performance if cast. By being Friends with Holly in real life also, means they are happy to work together meaning that our producers jobs will be easier as they have had previous experiences working together.
