Week 2 Warm Up 8/27/13 Pg. 7-8 in notebook • Why is it okay for a hypothesis to be wrong? • What is the difference between an hypothesis and a prediction? • Write both a qualitative and quantitative observation about something in the room • A pencil is 16.4 cm long. A student takes the following measurements: 6.4cm, 6.3cm, 6.5 cm. Are these measurements accurate? Reproducible? Both? Neither? Explain your choice. Remember: Do not write the questions.
