Achievements: • Member of the Jayhawk Chapter of the Special Olympics and a Lawrence, Kansas resident • Current Regional and State Champion in Special Olympic Category, and current NASA State Champion in Kansas and Missouri • 7-time World Champion in the World Association of Benchers and Dead-lifter Special Olympic Category and • 4-time Outstanding lifter in the WABDL Bench Press

  3. Brady is a tribal member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma

  4. Achievements: • 2011 Kansas City Sports Commission Special Achievement Award Recipient and is the 2009 Natural Athletic Strength Association Athlete of the Year • 2008 NASA National Courage Award winner • June 16, 2011 Aron E. Cromwell, Mayor of the City of Lawrence, Kansas declared that day as “Brady Tanner Day,” for “Brady’s ability to overcome all odds and for always striving to be the best that he can be, and showing himself to be a great example for all those who must overcome trials while pursuing their dreams.”

  5. Achievements: • Member of Team USA in the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Athens, Greece 2011 • He received four Special Olympic medals that year: • Silver medal in Squat Lift - 495 pounds • Gold medal in Dead Lift - 522.5 pounds • Gold medal in Bench Press - 335.5 pounds • Gold medal in Combination in all lifts - 1353 pounds
