The following escalation process should be followed within each Admitting Service: • It is okay to skip steps within this escalation process if specific resources are unavailable or unresponsive (e.g. no response after 2 pages within 15 minutes) • If the Admitting Service requires assistance with pain management, the following options are available as outlined:
