  2. WELCOME TO AAKASH EYE HOSPITAL • The AAKASH Eye Hospital started functioning on 8th august 1993 at a small town of nearly 100000 population at Visnagar. The hospital at that time had premising admeasuring 1500 sq. ft. only at present hospital premises within the accommodation of nearly 7000 sq ft. • In 1995, Aakash Eye Hospital started phacoid cataract surgery the hospital is among the pioneer in this kind of surgery. • In 2009, Aakash Eye Hospital purchased Excimer laser machine for glass removal surgery. • In 2011, Aakash Eye Hospital equipped with OCT, GREEN laser, FFA, for medical retina. • In 2014, Hospital started new branch at Odhav, Ahmedabad over 5500 sq. ft." • Over 20 years Aakash Eye Hospital provide services at entire North Gujarat and South Rajasthan.

  3. Services - Cataract Cataract is the clouding of the natural crystalline lens and typically occurs because of ageing, Surgery is the only known effective treatment for cataract removal. All cataract surgeries are aimed at removal of the cloudy natural lens and replacing it with an Intra Ocular Lens(IOL). Phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation is the latest technique available for cataract surgery. almost all the cases are done by this method at our center.

A laser vision correction surgery designed to reduce or eliminate the need for corrective eyewear. The CustomVue procedure provides a precise, unique, and more detailed analysis of the vision. Using Wave scan-based digital technology originally developed for use in high-powered telescopes to reduce distortions when viewing distant objects in space. Doctors can now capture unique imperfections in each individual’s eyes (higher order aberrations) that could not have been measured before using standard methods.

DACRYO CYSTO RHINO STOMY ( NASUR / WATERY EYE ) SURGERY At our center we do endoscopic DCR ( Durbin ) in adult and paeditric patient with good success rate, no stay required at hospital after DCR surgery.
