  • Labour market issues (agingworkforce, lack of new skilledworkers, skills mismatch, …) > pressureon companies andindustry

  • Public image of the sector (future of the sector in Europe, workingconditions, …)

  • ‘New skills for new jobs’ EU employmentstrategy

1. Update of the analysis of the nationalobservatories (ISP’s) on employmentand training in the TCL sectors

2. Networking betweenobservatoriesleadingto a EU TCL Skills Council

3. Creation of platform of data, best practices, innovative tools. Definition of services tobeprovidedby the network. Creating joint initiatives

4. Design anddevelopment of ICT infrastructureand tools, based on an open community portal. ICT includes job intervieuws, Wiki tool, …

5. Create more visibilityfor the topics (skills & competences) and the sectors
