  3. Determine connection present on your TV HDMI Port Component port Composite Port It requires the use of an analog (RCA) audio connection. A combination composite and analog audio cable is included with every Roku player Component supports up to 720p HD. A separate audio connection is required with component. NOTE: Not all Roku players have component connections. Component cables are sold separately. HDMI can carry both video and audio signals. It supports up to 1080p HD video playback on Roku players that are 1080p compatible. HDMI cables are sold separately

  4. Connect Roku to Internet Wi-Fi Connection On your remote press home button Select Setting > Network on your Roku menu. Select the Set up Connection. Select the Wireless connection. Wait for Roku to find your network(might take some time). Select your connection enter the password. Wait for confirmation, after that Roku will check for latest update. Follow on screen Instruction. Wired Connection There are 2 ways to connect your Roku device to the internet When you will boot your device for first time you will be prompted to choose between Wired and Wireless connection. Choose the Wired connection. Insert the Lan cable coming from your modem to the backside of the Roku Setup box. Roku device will connect to your internet directly. Roku will check for the latest update. It will reboot after the update. Follow on screen Instruction.

  5. Complete the Guided Setup Roku device will reboot after the update. After that you will have to follow the on screen instructions to set up your device. Select the Time zone you are in. Next page will display the unique code for your device. You will need a laptop or mobile device for the next step. Open the browser in your device and enter the following web addresswww.roku.com/link Enter the code displayed on your TV in the text box as shown in the picture and press the submit button.

  6. Creating the Roku Account For creating the Roku account visit the link give below https://my.roku.com/signup Enter the first and last name. Email on which you wish to receive the billing detail. Enter the password and DOB. Gender of the person should be specified. Accept the term and condition of using the Roku device. After creating the document your account should allow you to purchase the channel from the Roku channel store.
