Since 2006, Yosef Meystel has been employed by YAM Management, LLC, a nursing home management company headquartered in Skokie, Illinois. As President, he oversees management of the 16 Illinois-based nursing care facilities owned and operated by his company. His ongoing responsibilities include directing the company's financial plans, managing daily operations, guaranteeing regulatory compliance, and ensuring the appropriate function of each facility. He has also written a number of articles regarding nursing home care and selection. In the half-decade since he assumed his present role, Yosef Meystel's company has improved its profit margin by 25 percent. Yosef Meystel received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Indiana University South Bend, a regional public university located in North Central Indiana. While enrolled as a graduate student, he successfully pursued a major in Accounting. Known as a sports aficionado, Yosef Meystel dedicates his leisure time to watching a wide variety of professional athletics. He is also an avid reader who enjoys a broad range of books. Devoted to serving his cultural and religious community, Yosef Meystel frequently contributes to Jewish charities, such as Agudath Israel of Illinois, a communal organization established nearly 50 years ago with the aim of serving the Jewish Orthodox community. He sponsors the efforts of a Chicago Orthodox school, Joan Dachs Bais Yaakov, which offers religious education to more than 840 students from throughout the area. In addition, Yosef Meystel lends financial support to the Chicago Center for Torah and Chesed, a regional center committed to providing social and spiritual resources for those in need.
