India's E-commerce giant Flipkart's executive chairman Sachin Bansal too sees a lesson for entrepreneurs in BJP's performance in the recent assembly elections. Crediting PM Narendra Modi for the party's strong performance in the elections, Bansal tweeted, "Election results show how deeply Prime Minister Narendra Modi understands India. Lesson for entrepreneurs: be fanatic about understanding your audiences". Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the tweet saying, "More than my understanding, it is the people who have trusted the BJP & we will never betray this faith."

Powerful leadership can humble opposition On BJP's landslide victory in UP and Uttarakhand, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that Modi's victory had shattered the opposition hopes of unseating him soon. He tweeted that with the political balance tilting in favour of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the opposition should forget the Lok Sabha election of 2019 and aim at the 2024 general election to take power in New Delhi.
