1. Work Smarter With Fewer Spreadsheets! Let’s see a show of hands. Who likes to work with spreadsheets in order to upload products to Goodsie? Who has fun doing it? I don’t see any raised hands. I wonder why. Hmm…. Don’t feel bad. Nobody likes spreadsheets and I mean…nobody. Spreadsheets are a kind of curse – I guess you could say –on the eCommerce world. They’re unwieldy, prone to human error, and they just generally sort of ruin your day. That’s why Venzee was born! Venzee frees you from having to spend a lot of valuable time dealing with spreadsheets. With only a small amount of spreadsheet use you can now both create and update products for Goodsie. How it works: Step 1: Sign Up For Venzee Is Free You can start importing your data to Venzee right away. We’ve made importing to Venzee as easy as possible. However, if you want more information check out the videos below. How do I import data into Venzee? How do suppliers share data with their retailers via Venzee? Step 2: The Goodsie Template All of our templates are stored in our Template Library. To get there click on “Dynamic Data” and then click the “Add” button. The Goodsie template is there waiting for you. Select it. How do I create a template? Step 3: Using The Goodsie Template To Create a Dynamic Collection Now we’re going to use the Goodsie template to create a Dynamic Collection. We do this by mapping the attributes (color, size etc.) in your source data you uploaded in Step 1 with the fields in the Goodsie template. If you need assistance with this click the little “?” for some pointers. There are some advanced features here that you might want to use. For example, you can create spec tables, perform calculations, and even add padding to make it all look more attractive. We’ve even given you a way to create entirely new content by combining your source data and the fields in the Goodsie template!

2. When you’re finished mapping click “Generate” and then click “Export” to get the download link. You have just transformed your source data (uploaded in Step 1) into Goodsie-ready product records. That’s the file you just received in your email. You can now use this file to create and update products for the Goodsie platform. Give it a try!
