Camping on Hawaii

The DLNR has confirmed that lodging is an acceptable activity under the safer at home proclamation. Giving approval specifically at Malaekahana Beach Campgrounds with the understanding that we are not an approved quarantine location. All reservations will be done by calling our reservations office in Camping on Hawaii . Office hours are from 8:30am-4:30pm, 7 days a week.<br><br>There are additional expectations regarding sanitation and safety. Please follow all federal, state and local guidelines. Please see below for additional rules and guidelines that must be followed at this time.<br><br>Mandatory Soft Opening Rules<br><br>Reservations available for residents with a valid Hawaii State ID<br>All guest must be household members only<br>Must present valid id upon check in for every guest<br>Maximum night allowed is 5 no exceptions<br>Check in must be done by 4pm to gain entry<br>No day use guest<br>A key will be given for the assigned bathroom for your Hale<br>Should the key be lost there will be a key replacement fee<br>It will be required to wear a mask upon check in and when going to and from hale and bathroom<br>Please be mindful and practice safe distancing rules and guidelines of 6ft from other campers/employees in the area and on the beach.<br><br>Office and Camp Store will be open during normal operating times. However, we will service you through a service window.<br><br>Our office during this time will remain cashless. All transactions will require payment via credit card.<br>
