  2. Introduction Antigua & Barbuda is an archipelago country located in the place where the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea meet. The country has 2 big islands and many smaller islands attached. The country introduced its Antigua and Barbuda Investment program to provide funding for the internal development projects of the country. This program interested investor to contribute actively to the country to qualify for the citizenship program. It doesn’t require the investor to live in Antigua & Barbuda at any given point of time. The tax regime of the country is very beneficial for the investor.   4. The investor to qualify for the program is provided with three paths wherein he/she can choose what best suits their requirement. One of the pathways is investment in purchase of pre-approved real estate of the country. This requires the investor to invest a minimum of USD $200,000 in the property chosen. Now the investor can partner with another investor for the same property. However, each of the investor will be contributing a USD $200,000 and more and each of their application will be processed separately. This property should be held on by the investor for a minimum of 5 years period. An additional fee of USD $30,000 will be charged for processing for a family of 4 and below. For every additional dependent an additional fee of USD $15,000 will be charged.

Alternatively, the investor can make a contribution to the National Development Fund (NDF) a sum of USD $100,000. This is specially made to fund Government projects for the development of the country.
