  2. Everything you need to know about Line Modules The laser uses a focused and amplified beam emitted from a solid-state device called a diode. These light-emitting diodes, also known as LEDs, are found in many common devices, including digital clocks, remote controls, or television screens. To understand how a laser works, it is helpful to know that the word is actually an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Simply put, when certain electrons are stimulated, they emit a beam of light. When a mirror or prism collects this light and directs it in one direction, the result is a laser beam. By using multiple lasers, it is possible to project several paths for use with image processing.

  3. Types of Laser Modules: The point generator module is the simplest type of laser module. This is basically a spirit level that fires laser points and sometimes uses line generators that can be reversed in front of the beam. Dot laser module projects simple points that can be level, square or perpendicular. A variety of models are available with prices ranging from $ 20 to more than $ 500. While the cheapest models are best suited for indoor use, other models can be used outside. Line laser module is a point-to-point module that can shoot multiple horizontal and vertical laser lines using multiple LED diodes at distances of 65 to 100 feet (19.8 to 30.5 meters). Designed for indoor use, they often include the ability to slip and tidy up. Some models now include pulsed light technology that works with light detectors so they can be used outdoors or in bright indoor spaces.

  4. Rotary Laser Modules The rotary Laser Modulesproject a rotating point to make a 360 degree line. The detector is used to read laser lines remotely. Most rotary lasers also have a single path generator. Ideal for outdoor work, such as adjoining roads, foundations, or pipe placing's, this is the most accurate and most expensive laser module, varying from $ 250 to more than $ 2,000. Manual and self-leveling options are available, and can be operated by remote control

  5. Several Uses of Line Modules Line modules are very useful in several tasks. They can be helpful in optics and measurements. Line modules are lasers that are modified to project lines rather than points (eg laser pointers). This can be achieved by passing light through a cylindrical lens or Powell lens. Depending on the application, laser line modules can produce lines, cross lines, or other patterns. Civil engineering and interior design projects can use laser lines to measure the leveling of small building sites. Laser line modules are ideal for vision applications, sensing, imaging and scanning of machines. A laser line module can produce a line thickness of less than 100 microns. Further, modulation can be added to laser line modules. Line laser modules with integrated laser driver circuits, optics and laser diodes. They are suitable for different applications such as leveling, positioning, and measurement.
