  4. Visitors and Guests • Guests are cordoned off to ensure official traffic and deliveries can operate, and to ensure security can raise and lower their electronic security barriers (the black and yellow squares.)

  5. Visitors and Guests (cont.) • Visitors and guests will be restricted to the side of the pier that the visiting ship moors against. • Please encourage crewmembers to inform their guests beforehand of the policy.

  6. Pedestrian Access

  7. Brow Alignment Enlisted and officer brows will be set up off of Elevator 3.

  8. Pre-Staged Materials • Pallets, tri-walls, mail, and non-refrigerated 1Q items will often be pre-staged at the end of Hotel Pier for immediate loading.

  9. Concessions • The Navy Exchange and other vendors provide an assortment of concessions. • They are located at the end of Hotel Pier, adjacent to the pedestrian thoroughfare.

  11. Trash Bin Setup • Provided with eight green trash bins for wet, food-related trash ONLY! • Located past the end of Hotel Pier.

  12. Trash Bin Setup (cont.) • Other trash – including plastic & cardboard – are placed in the eight brown trash bins provided. • Start filling from farthest bin to closest bin.

  13. Pre-Staged Vehicles • Government Vehicles for Ships on Hotel Pier will be pre-staged on San Juan Ave. adjacent to Buildings 406 and 489

  14. Security • Security will be posted to ensure that non-government vehicles are not allowed near Hotel Pier.

  15. Taxi & Bus Services • Taxis and buses will be located in this lot next to the Halawa Gate.

  16. Taxi & Bus Services (cont.) • To get to the buses and taxis, go past the dumpsters at the end of Hotel Pier. • Ask your sailors to stay behind the barrier and to cross in the crosswalks for their safety.

  18. Wet Trash • Wet, food-related trash should go in the square green dumpsters. • Amphibs are allotted six wet garbage dumpsters. Wet Trash

  19. Other Trash • Non-wet trash, including plastic and cardboard, should go in the large, rectangular dumpsters. • Amphibs are allotted six of these dumpsters. Non-Wet Trash

  20. Kilo Pier Hook-ups • Kilo Pier has potable water and steam hookups available. • There are no power hookups available, so the ship must use it’s own power.

  21. Kilo Pier Hook-ups • Landline telephone hookups are located on the left-center edge of the pier.

  22. Connecting the Brow • Once moored, Ocean Terminals’ cranes will maneuver the brow into place.

  23. Ship’s Vehicles • Region-funded ship’s vehicles will be lined up in the middle of the pier. • NAVFAC’s representative will be part of the boarding party, and will pass the keys of all vehicles over at that time.

  24. ITT Mobile Office • The Information, Tickets, and Travel (ITT) section of MWR will set up a mobile office to meet the ship and handle the crew’s questions and needs.

  25. Liberty Buses • Liberty Buses are available right off of the pier next to the Pearl Harbor Mail Center.

  26. ATAC ATAC • Our Advance Traceability and Control (ATAC) facilities are located in Building 479 just behind Kilo 11.
