  1. Evolution of Power Apps Power Apps is a suite of low-code development tools offered by Microsoft that enables users to create custom business applications without extensive coding knowledge. Since its initial launch in 2015, Power Apps has evolved significantly, introducing new features and capabilities to enhance its functionality. Introduction of Power Apps (2015): Microsoft introduced Power Apps as part of their broader Power Platform, which also includes Power BI (business intelligence) and Power Automate (workflow automation). Power Apps Studio (2016): Power Apps Studio, the primary design environment, underwent several updates to improve its usability and functionality. Integration with Common Data Service (2017): Common Data Service (now known as Microsoft Dataverse) was integrated with Power Apps, allowing users to create, manage, and store data within a scalable and secure cloud- based database. Power Apps for Mobile (2018): Microsoft introduced Power Apps for mobile devices, enabling users to create and run apps on iOS and Android platforms. The mobile version provided native app experiences and utilized device- specific capabilities like location services, camera, and push notifications. Introduction of AI Builder (2019): Microsoft added AI Builder, an artificial intelligence (AI) platform, to Power Apps. AI Builder allowed users to incorporate AI capabilities, such as form processing, object detection, and

Introduction of Power Virtual Agents (2019): Power Virtual Agents integrated with Power Apps, providing a no-code platform for creating chatbots and virtual agents. Power Apps in Microsoft Teams (2020): Microsoft integrated Power Apps into Microsoft Teams, a popular collaboration platform. Users could create and distribute Power Apps within Teams, enhancing productivity and enabling users to access apps seamlessly within their workflow.
